Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoon peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoon raisins
  • 1 tablespoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 ounce dark chocolate, chopped

Instructions 

  1. Heat the oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, and cook until softened.
  2. Add the chicken broth, peanut butter, raisins, cumin, cinnamon, and salt. Stir to combine.
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in the chopped chocolate until melted and smooth.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a blender and blend until smooth. Return to the pot and keep warm until ready to serve.
