Main Ingredients
- 1 lb ziti pasta
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 jar marinara sauce 24 oz
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese shredded
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- ½ cup Parmesan cheese grated
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Cook the ziti pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a large pot, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
Add the marinara sauce to the pot with the ground beef and stir to combine. Let it simmer for a few minutes.
In a large bowl, mix the cooked ziti pasta with the sauce and beef mixture.
In a baking dish, layer half of the pasta mixture, then dollop spoonfuls of ricotta cheese on top. Sprinkle with half of the mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses.
Layer the remaining pasta mixture on top and sprinkle with the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
