Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 4 lbs Beef short ribs
  • 1 large Onion chopped
  • 3 cloves Garlic minced
  • 2 cups Beef broth
  • 1 cup Red wine
  • 2 tablespoon Tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black pepper

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. Season the short ribs with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in a Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Brown the short ribs on all sides, then remove and set aside.
  4. Add onions to the pot and cook until softened. Add garlic and cook for another minute.
  5. Stir in tomato paste, then add beef broth and red wine. Bring to a simmer.
  6. Return the short ribs to the pot, cover, and transfer to the oven. Cook for about 3 hours, or until the meat is tender.
  7. Remove from oven and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
