Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 can Black Beans drained and rinsed
  • ½ cup Bread Crumbs
  • ¼ cup Onion finely chopped
  • 1 Egg beaten
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Chili Powder
  • ½ teaspoon Cumin
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil for cooking

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a food processor, mash the black beans until thick and pasty.
  2. 2. In a mixing bowl, combine the mashed black beans with bread crumbs, onion, egg, garlic powder, chili powder, cumin, and salt. Mix well.
  3. 3. Form the mixture into 4 patties.
  4. 4. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 5 minutes on each side, until heated through and slightly crispy.
