- 4 pounds corned beef brisket with spice packet
- 1 large onion sliced
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup water
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
Place the corned beef brisket in a Dutch oven. Add the sliced onion and minced garlic.
Pour in the beef broth, water, apple cider vinegar, and sprinkle the brown sugar and black pepper over the top.
Cover the Dutch oven with a lid and place it in the preheated oven. Braise for about 4 hours or until the meat is tender.
Remove the brisket from the oven and let it rest for 15 minutes before slicing. Serve with the cooking liquid spooned over the top.
