Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground beef
  • 1 cup Chopped onions
  • 1 cup Diced carrots
  • 1 cup Diced celery
  • 3 cups Chicken broth
  • 4 cups Diced potatoes
  • ¼ cup All-purpose flour
  • 2 cups Milk
  • 2 cups Shredded cheddar cheese
  • ¼ cup Sour cream
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large pot, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain the fat.
  2. 2. Add the onions, carrots, and celery to the pot. Cook until the vegetables are tender.
  3. 3. Stir in the chicken broth and potatoes. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until potatoes are tender.
  4. 4. In a small bowl, whisk together the flour and milk until smooth. Gradually stir into the soup. Bring to a boil and cook until thickened.
  5. 5. Reduce heat to low. Stir in the cheese until melted. Remove from heat and stir in the sour cream. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
