Main Ingredients
- 4 pieces Chicken breasts boneless, skinless
- 1 cup All-purpose flour for dredging
- 2 tablespoons Olive oil
- 1 cup Marsala wine
- 1 cup Chicken broth low sodium
- 8 ounces Mushrooms sliced
- 2 tablespoons Butter unsalted
- 2 cloves Garlic minced
- to taste Salt and pepper
- 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley chopped
1. Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness.
2. Dredge the chicken in flour, shaking off excess.
3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
4. In the same skillet, add butter and sauté the mushrooms until browned. Add garlic and cook for another minute.
5. Pour in Marsala wine and chicken broth, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet. Bring to a simmer.
6. Return the chicken to the skillet and cook until the sauce thickens and the chicken is cooked through, about 10 minutes.
7. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
