Ingredients

  • 4 slices bread preferably sourdough
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup cooked chicken breast shredded
  • 0.5 cup marinara sauce
  • 2 tablespoons butter softened
  • 0.25 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions 

  1. 1. Butter one side of each slice of bread.
  2. 2. On the unbuttered side, layer mozzarella cheese, shredded chicken, marinara sauce, and Parmesan cheese.
  3. 3. Top with another slice of bread, buttered side out.
  4. 4. Heat a skillet over medium heat. Place the sandwiches in the skillet and cook until golden brown on both sides and the cheese is melted, about 4-5 minutes per side.
  5. 5. Serve hot and enjoy!
