Country Fried Squash
A simple and delicious country-style fried squash recipe.

- 2 cups sliced squash
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup cornmeal
- 2 units eggs beaten
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup vegetable oil for frying
1. Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, cornmeal, salt, and pepper.
3. Dip the squash slices in beaten eggs, then coat with the flour mixture.
4. Fry the coated squash slices in hot oil until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
5. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels. Serve hot.
