Ingredients

  • 4 cups Water
  • 2 cups White vinegar
  • ½ cup Pickling salt
  • 8 cups Cucumbers small, whole
  • 4 cloves Garlic
  • 4 heads Dill fresh

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large pot, combine water, vinegar, and pickling salt. Bring to a boil.
  2. 2. Pack cucumbers into hot, sterilized canning jars. Add a clove of garlic and a head of dill to each jar.
  3. 3. Pour the boiling brine over the cucumbers, leaving ½ inch headspace. Seal jars with lids.
  4. 4. Process jars in a boiling water bath for 10 minutes. Remove and let cool.
  5. 5. Let pickles sit for at least 2 weeks before opening for best flavor.
