Flaming Greek Cheese Saganaki Recipe
A delicious Greek appetizer featuring pan-fried cheese set aflame with a splash of brandy.

Main Ingredients
- 200 g Kefalotyri cheese or other firm Greek cheese
- ¼ cup All-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoon Olive oil
- 1 shot Brandy
- 1 half Lemon for squeezing
1. Cut the cheese into ½ inch thick slices.
2. Dredge each slice in flour, shaking off any excess.
3. Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
4. Fry the cheese slices until golden brown, about 2 minutes per side.
5. Remove the pan from heat, pour brandy over the cheese, and carefully ignite with a lighter or match.
6. Squeeze lemon juice over the flaming cheese to extinguish the flame.
7. Serve immediately with crusty bread.
