Main Ingredients
- 1 lb Chicken breasts, cubed
- 1 cup Carrots, diced
- 1 cup Celery, diced
- 1 cup Onion, diced
- 4 cups Chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- ½ teaspoon Black pepper
- 1 cup Frozen peas
Dumplings
- 1 cup All-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon Baking powder
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- ½ cup Milk
- 2 tablespoon Butter, melted
1. Set your Instant Pot to sauté mode. Add some oil and cook the chicken until browned.
2. Add carrots, celery, and onion. Cook until softened.
3. Pour in the chicken broth, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
4. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt for the dumplings. Stir in milk and melted butter until just combined.
5. Drop spoonfuls of the dumpling batter into the Instant Pot. Close the lid and set to high pressure for 10 minutes.
6. Once done, quick release the pressure. Stir in frozen peas and let sit for a few minutes before serving.
