Ingredients

  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon zest from 1 lemon
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add the heavy cream, lemon zest, and vanilla extract. Mix until just combined.
  4. Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead gently.
  5. Pat the dough into a circle about 1 inch thick and cut into 8 wedges.
  6. Place the wedges on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving.
