Main Ingredients
- 2 cups All-purpose flour
- 1 packet Active dry yeast
- ⅓ cup Warm milk
- 2 Large eggs
- ½ cup Unsalted butter, melted
- ¼ cup Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- 1 cup Pearl sugar
In a small bowl, dissolve yeast in warm milk. Let it stand until frothy, about 5 minutes.
In a large bowl, mix flour and salt. Make a well in the center and add eggs, melted butter, sugar, and vanilla extract. Pour in the yeast mixture and stir until combined.
Knead the dough until smooth and elastic. Cover and let it rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
Gently fold in the pearl sugar. Preheat your waffle iron.
Divide the dough into portions and cook in the preheated waffle iron until golden brown and crisp. Serve warm.
