Ingredients

  • 8 oz Elbow macaroni
  • 2 cups Shredded cheddar cheese
  • ¼ cup Butter
  • ¼ cup All-purpose flour
  • 2 cups Milk
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon Black pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. Cook macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. 2. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  3. 3. Gradually whisk in milk, and cook until thickened and bubbly.
  4. 4. Add salt and pepper. Stir in cheese until melted.
  5. 5. Combine cheese sauce with cooked macaroni. Pour into a baking dish.
  6. 6. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20 minutes or until bubbly and golden.
