Main Ingredients
- 8 oz Elbow macaroni
- 2 cups Shredded cheddar cheese
- ¼ cup Butter
- ¼ cup All-purpose flour
- 2 cups Milk
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- ¼ teaspoon Black pepper
1. Cook macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
2. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour and cook for 1-2 minutes.
3. Gradually whisk in milk, and cook until thickened and bubbly.
4. Add salt and pepper. Stir in cheese until melted.
5. Combine cheese sauce with cooked macaroni. Pour into a baking dish.
6. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20 minutes or until bubbly and golden.
