Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 4 units Green plantains peeled and cut into 1-inch slices
  • ½ cup Pork cracklings chopped
  • 4 cloves Garlic minced
  • ¼ cup Olive oil
  • to taste Salt

Instructions 

  1. 1. Heat the olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  2. 2. Fry the plantain slices until golden and tender, about 10-15 minutes.
  3. 3. Remove the plantains from the pan and place them in a mortar.
  4. 4. Add the minced garlic and pork cracklings to the plantains.
  5. 5. Mash the mixture together until well combined. Add salt to taste.
  6. 6. Shape the mixture into small balls or serve as a mound. Enjoy!
