Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 4 large Portobello mushrooms
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 slices cheese optional
  • 4 burger buns
  • Lettuce, tomato, onion, and other toppings as desired
  • Condiments ketchup, mustard, etc.

Instructions 

  1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Clean mushrooms and remove stems.
  3. Brush mushrooms with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Grill mushrooms for 5-7 minutes on each side.
  5. Add cheese slices during the last minute of grilling if using.
  6. Toast burger buns on the grill for 1-2 minutes.
  7. Assemble burgers with mushrooms, toppings, and condiments.
