Ingredients 

Pickling Solution

  • 1 cup white vinegar
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon salt

Vegetables

  • 4 cups cucumbers, sliced
  • 1 cup onions, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • 1 teaspoon dill seeds

Instructions 

  1. In a saucepan, combine vinegar, water, sugar, and salt. Bring to a boil, stirring until sugar and salt dissolve.
  2. In a jar, place cucumbers, onions, mustard seeds, and dill seeds.
  3. Pour the hot vinegar mixture over the vegetables in the jar.
  4. Let cool to room temperature, then cover and refrigerate for at least 24 hours before serving.
