Main Ingredients
- 2 pieces Sirloin Steak about 6-8 oz each
- 4 tablespoons Butter unsalted
- 3 cloves Garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
- to taste Salt
- to taste Black Pepper freshly ground
1. Pat the steaks dry with paper towels. Season both sides generously with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add the olive oil.
3. Once the oil is hot, add the steaks to the skillet. Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness.
4. Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest on a plate.
5. In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the butter. Once melted, add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute, until fragrant.
6. Pour the garlic butter over the steaks and serve immediately.
