Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Chicken breasts boneless, skinless
  • 8 cups Chicken broth
  • 3 Carrots sliced
  • 3 Celery stalks sliced
  • 1 Onion diced
  • 3 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon Dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon Dried rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon Salt to taste
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper to taste
  • 8 oz Egg noodles
  • 2 tablespoon Fresh parsley chopped

Instructions 

  1. 1. Add chicken breasts, chicken broth, carrots, celery, onion, garlic, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper to the slow cooker.
  2. 2. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  3. 3. Remove chicken and shred with two forks. Return chicken to the slow cooker.
  4. 4. Add egg noodles and cook on high for an additional 20-30 minutes or until noodles are tender.
  5. 5. Stir in fresh parsley before serving.
