  • 1 lb Chicken livers cleaned and trimmed
  • 1 cup Buttermilk
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon Paprika
  • ½ teaspoon Garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon Onion powder
  • 2 cups Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions 

  1. 1. Soak the chicken livers in buttermilk for at least 30 minutes.
  2. 2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  3. 3. Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
  4. 4. Dredge the soaked livers in the flour mixture, coating them well.
  5. 5. Fry the livers in the hot oil until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  6. 6. Remove from the oil and drain on paper towels.
  7. 7. Serve hot.
