Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 cup Long grain white rice
  • 1 small Onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 cup Tomato sauce
  • 2 cups Chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Chili powder

Instructions 

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add rice and cook, stirring constantly, until golden brown.
  3. Add onion and garlic, and cook until onion is tender.
  4. Stir in tomato sauce, chicken broth, salt, cumin, and chili powder. Bring to a boil.
  5. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 20-25 minutes, or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.
  6. Fluff with a fork and serve.
