Stuffed Cabbage Rolls Recipe

- 1 head cabbage core removed
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 medium onion finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 can tomato sauce (15 oz)
- 1 can diced tomatoes (15 oz)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add the cabbage head and cook for 2-3 minutes, until leaves are softened. Remove and let cool.
3. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, cooked rice, chopped onion, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika.
4. Carefully peel off large cabbage leaves. Place a portion of the meat mixture in the center of each leaf and roll up, tucking in the sides.
5. Place the rolls seam-side down in a baking dish. Pour tomato sauce and diced tomatoes over the rolls.
6. Cover with foil and bake for 1.5 hours, until the meat is cooked through and the cabbage is tender.
