Ingredients

  • 4 green bell peppers tops cut off and seeds removed
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix ground beef, cooked rice, chopped onion, tomato sauce, salt, and pepper.
  3. Stuff each green pepper with the beef mixture and place in a baking dish.
  4. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
  5. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes to brown the tops.
