Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • ½ cup soy sauce
  • ¼ cup water
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoon water
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon minced ginger

Instructions 

  1. In a saucepan, combine soy sauce, water, brown sugar, and honey. Heat over medium heat, stirring until sugar is dissolved.
  2. Add minced garlic and ginger. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  3. Mix cornstarch with 2 tablespoon water to make a slurry. Add to the saucepan, stirring constantly until the sauce thickens.
  4. Remove from heat and let cool. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
