Main Ingredients
- 1 lb flank steak
- ½ cup soy sauce
- ¼ cup lime juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ¼ cup chopped cilantro
- 8 small corn tortillas
- ½ cup diced onions
- ½ cup chopped fresh cilantro
- Lime wedges for serving
Marinate the steak: In a bowl, mix soy sauce, lime juice, garlic, cumin, chili powder, black pepper, and cilantro. Add the steak and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
Cook the steak: Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the steak for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until desired doneness. Let it rest for a few minutes, then slice thinly.
Warm the tortillas: Heat the tortillas on a dry skillet or directly over a gas flame until warm and slightly charred.
Assemble the tacos: Place a few slices of steak on each tortilla. Top with diced onions and chopped cilantro. Serve with lime wedges.
