Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 Turkey carcass leftover from a roasted turkey
  • 2 cups Carrots chopped
  • 2 cups Celery chopped
  • 1 cup Onion chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 8 cups Water
  • 2 teaspoon Salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon Dried rosemary
  • 2 cups Cooked turkey meat shredded

Instructions 

  1. 1. Place the turkey carcass in a large pot and cover with water.
  2. 2. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 1 hour.
  3. 3. Remove the carcass and strain the broth.
  4. 4. Return the broth to the pot and add the chopped carrots, celery, onion, and garlic.
  5. 5. Add salt, pepper, thyme, and rosemary. Simmer for another 30 minutes.
  6. 6. Add the shredded turkey meat and cook for an additional 10 minutes.
  7. 7. Adjust seasoning to taste and serve hot.
