Main Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon Olive oil
- 1 lb Chicken breast, diced
- 1 Onion, chopped
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 2 cans Great Northern beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can Green chilies, chopped
- 4 cups Chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon Cumin
- 1 teaspoon Oregano
- ½ teaspoon Chili powder
- ¼ teaspoon Salt
- ¼ teaspoon Black pepper
- ½ cup Sour cream
- ½ cup Heavy cream
Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add diced chicken and cook until no longer pink.
Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the pot. Cook until onions are translucent.
Add the beans, green chilies, chicken broth, cumin, oregano, chili powder, salt, and black pepper. Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
Stir in sour cream and heavy cream. Cook for an additional 5 minutes.
Serve hot, garnished with your favorite toppings.
