Instructions
Cook bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crisp. Remove bacon and set aside, leaving the drippings in the skillet.
Add chopped onion to the skillet and cook until tender.
Stir in vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil.
Place lettuce in a large mixing bowl. Pour hot dressing over lettuce and toss to coat. Sprinkle with cooked bacon.
Serve immediately.
